And now, I’m going to show you how to embed video with Vimeo without iframe.
First things first, you need to get your video uploaded on Vimeo for sure. Then, on the top right corner of your video, you will see a Share link. Basically, the Share button will simply appear while you point the cursor over the video players. Then, a pop-up window will show up and from there you will see an area which contains the embed code for the video.
As you can see on Embed field, Vimeo providing aniframeembed code by default, but in this article we’re not going to use it. Instead, we’re going to use the old ones. So, click Show Options link placed above the embed code field.
Then, click Use old embed code and scroll up the page to the Embed field again and you will see the code is changed. Ignore the warning message from Vimeo tells that the embed code is no longer supported. In fact, it’s still working.
Basically, the only code that you need to copy is between this snippet
<object> …. </object>.
Other than that, just delete them. The last thing you need to do is copy paste the code in HTML editor.
In case you’re using WordPress, make sure you copy the code with Text mode instead of Visual mode. Why? Because the visual mode will convert the characters in the code, therefore it won’t work on the front end of the site.
